Spring Necklace Giveaway
The contest has ended, and the winner is Bridget Koupriaynov. Below is her answer to "What's the most creative way you have recycled something?"
"I recycle old t-shirts everyday into yarn. I buy used t-shirts from my local Salvation Army. The T-shirts are cleaned and then cut into one continuous strip, so there are no knots or seams, and then pulled into cord. Very eco-friendly. It's a good way to take part in your favorite crafts and creations while recycling at the same time. The uses are endless--crocheting rugs, potholders, braiding into headbands, using as a cord for making bracelets and necklaces. Cutting into smaller pieces to make latch hook rugs or wreaths, weaving projects, and whatever your imagination can come up with."
